◇ Mahjong Match Race

Objective

Clear all 36 pairs before your opponent. Every matched pair adds points, and the first player to clear the board wins the race.

Free tiles

A tile is free when no tile overlaps it from a higher layer and at least its left or right edge is open. Raised tiles can cover lower tiles. Blocked tiles remain visible but cannot be selected.

Matching

Select two free tiles with the same symbol and word label. A match removes both. A mismatch leaves both tiles on the board. Symbols, labels, borders, and patterns make every set distinguishable without relying on color.

Safeguard

If the remaining free tiles contain no pair, the game automatically reshuffles the symbols still on that board. Removed tiles stay removed.

Keyboard

Tab into your board, use the arrow keys to move across the tile grid, and press Enter or Space to select. Home and End jump to the first and last remaining tile.
