🐟 Go Fish

Objective

Collect the most books. A book is all four cards of the same rank, such as four 7s or four kings.

How to Play

• Each player starts with cards from a shuffled deck. On your turn, choose another player and ask for a rank that you already have in your hand.
• If that player has any cards of that rank, they give you all of them. You keep playing and may ask again.
• If they have none, you “go fish” by drawing from the deck.
• If the drawn card matches the rank you asked for, you get another turn. Otherwise play passes to the next player.
• When you collect four of a rank, the game makes a book and removes those cards from your hand.

How to Win

The game ends when all 13 books are made, or when hands and the deck are empty. The player with the most books wins.

Tips

• Ask for ranks you have more than one of first.
• Remember what other players request; it tells you what they might hold.
• Making books quickly makes your hand easier to manage.
