Objective
Move all 15 of your checkers around the board, into your home board, and then bear them off before your opponent does.
How to Play
- White moves from point 24 toward point 1. Black moves from point 1 toward point 24. White rolls first.
- On your turn, roll two dice. Move one checker by each die number, or use both dice on the same checker if each step is legal. Doubles give four moves of that number.
- You may land on empty points, your own points, or a point with exactly one opposing checker. Landing on a single opposing checker sends it to the bar.
- You may not land on points holding two or more opposing checkers.
- If you have checkers on the bar, they must re-enter before you move anything else.
How to Win
Once all your checkers are in your home board, bear them off using dice rolls. The first player to bear off all 15 checkers wins.
Tips
- Build safe points with two or more checkers.
- Hit lone opposing checkers when it slows them down.
- Bring stragglers home before racing to bear off.
